CONTENT
This step is the most important in website design. Many clients
only believe that colors, clipart/photo, and design are important.
But with internet becoming more content driven, text on a
website sets its presence more today.
LAYOUT/DESIGN
This step can take most of the time that it takes to build
a website, using step 1 as a starting point, step 2 is in
the designer’s hand and then offered to the client.
Many clients have seen other websites on the web and have
their own ideas. These ideas are welcomed and must be kept
realistic.
CONTENT VS. DESIGN
Many of our clients have already prepared text that they would
like to be on the website, but sometimes the design they envision
will not work with the text they have provided. This is why
this step is called content vs. design. Most website design
is held-up during this step. The designer and client will
go back and forward on what the designer believes to be a
“graphic perfect feel” for the type of website
the client wants to present on the web. As the client sometimes
feels they want something similar to their competitor/friend
website. This is a common conflict and THATS KLOVE Web Design
resolves very quickly. We simply offer the client options
of what we feel fit their taste and keep it cost effective.
DEVELOPMENT
After the previous steps have been approved, the actual building
of the site takes place. This step is where all the graphics,
photos, and text are implemented into the design agreed upon
by the client.
TESTING
We test each page with special software, to make sure that
the HTML is fully compliant with current standards, that all
links work correctly and that each page loads within our accepted
standard.
DELIVERY, MORE TESTING &
IMPLEMENTATION
We upload the completed page or site to the hosting server.
We again test each page with the major browsers, including
the functioning of any scripts.
MAINTENANCE
We will make a changes to the site at a cost effective rate. |
